Main Issues
The areas where I will focus my experience and energy to deliver better outcomes for Burlington.
Fiscal Inefficiency
Lack of transparency and strategic discipline in how tax dollars are allocated and how city assets are managed. Burlington needs stronger financial oversight and more effective use of public resources.
Unplanned Growth
Rapid development without sufficient planning has led to congestion, high-rise sprawl, and strain on infrastructure. Growth must be thoughtful, balanced, and community-focused.
Neighbourhood Decline
Loss of neighbourhood character and damage to key areas like the waterfront and downtown core. There is a need to preserve what makes Burlington unique and correct past planning mistakes.
Safety Concerns
Reactive rather than proactive approaches to community safety. More investment is needed in prevention, traffic calming, and innovative collaboration with law enforcement.

Fight for predictable property taxes.
Review spending to eliminate waste and duplication.
Ensure residents receive value for every tax dollar.

Expand traffic calming in problem areas.
Support crime prevention initiatives.
Improve neighbourhood safety through stronger partnerships
with residents and HaltonRegion Police Service.

Neighbourhood Preservation
Ensure new development fits the character of existing neighbourhoods.
Protect residential streets from excessive traffic impacts.
Give residents a stronger voice in planning decisions.
